FCA is a collegiate part-time high school for homeschool students. Students attend classes three days a week, where they complete all of their core subjects, electives, and dual enrollment courses. They are assigned one day of independent study at home each week that can be spread out however each family decides. The program guides students through high school and also earning a two-year associates degree tuition-free through the state's Dual Enrollment programs.  Students can also choose certificate programs in addition to their associates degree.

FCA provides individualized support throughout the high school programs. When students begin dual enrolling they are assigned their one-on-one guidance counselor. They will meet regularly via virtual sessions to keep them on track for dual enrollment and college degree completion. They will also be coached in life skill areas like time management, communication with professors, college applications, career possibilities and more. Eligible students may begin dual enrollment as early as 8th grade, depending on university admission requirements. By 10th grade, all students in the program are required to be dual enrolled, taking a minimum of two college courses per semester.

 

FCA partners with Palm Beach State College and Southeastern University to offer students multiple options and paths according to their goals. Students may also take courses at both institutions if they meet entrance requirements.

 

Admission to the program for students entering in 9th grade or above is selective and based on specific eligibility criteria.​
