About Us

Cindy Marler

Co-founder & Director

Born and raised in South Florida, I had the privilege of attending one of the state’s top private schools for nine years—an experience that sparked a lifelong love of learning. I later earned a degree in Sociology and Spanish from Florida State University, where I deepened my understanding of people, cultures, and social systems.Becoming a parent led me to homeschool my children, and what began as responding to a calling from The Lord quickly became a passion. Immersing myself in the world of alternative education, I spent the past decade supporting homeschooling families and gaining a front-row seat to both the beauty and the challenges of educational choice. From that journey, Florida Christian Academy (FCA) was born—an answer to the growing need for something different, especially for teenagers.  One of the most transformative aspects of our approach is helping students access free college courses while still in high school. Watching them build confidence as they tackle college-level work—often discovering they're more capable than they imagined—is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. It’s a powerful way to prepare them for the future without burdening them with student debt. I find joy in bringing vision to life and building thriving communities where students and families feel supported and inspired.

Director of Operations

My husband, Javier, and I are both from Puerto Rico and met while studying engineering at the University of Puerto Rico. After graduating, we moved to California to pursue our master’s degrees in engineering at California Polytechnic State University. My career as an engineer took us across the country as we pursued new opportunities, until we eventually made our home in Lake Worth after welcoming our daughter.Today, I oversee the business and operations at Florida Christian Academy. My passion lies in reimagining education and designing systems that break outdated molds. Homeschooling our daughter has given me the space to create innovative learning structures that boost efficiency and deliver high value to families. Through this work, I’ve discovered a gift for both the design and oversight of strategical systems.I’m especially excited that in the state of Florida, high school students have access to free college-level courses. It's an incredible opportunity for young people to build confidence, challenge themselves academically, and begin their higher education journey without taking on debt—something I believe can transform their futures.

Our Mission

We provide a Christ-centered, part-time education for homeschool high school students that nurtures deep faith, academic excellence, and free access to college. Our flexible model empowers students to explore personal interests early, while a supportive community builds confidence, honors each student’s uniqueness, and prepares them to serve Jesus Christ with purpose.

Our Vision

A part-time school with a full-time purpose. We envision a Christ-centered high school experience that breaks free from outdated educational models. By combining part-time flexibility with early college access, we empower students to pursue purpose-driven lives without the burden of unnecessary time or debt. Our goal is to raise confident, faith-filled young adults who know who they are in Christ, embrace their God-given calling, and lead the way in reshaping how education serves both the individual and the Kingdom of God.
